Stress

Stress is almost always on the first syllable. The exception is when conjugation or other word modification adds an extra syllable to the beginning of a word. In that case, the stress is on the second syllable.

Examples
urig (pig) = U-rig
iurig (pig, past tense) = i-U-rig
igfer (give) = IG-fer
iayfer (give, imperative) = i-AYG-fer
